Since 2020, Twenty-Two have kept our focus on helping the local community which has enabled us to closely support many local and national charities that we work with today.
The first charity we worked with was back in November 2022 when we ran our own afternoon tea and quiz for The Blue Tangerine Federation (BTF) and managed to raise £2,500!
Today we work closely with CIOs and CICs in Hertfordshire and beyond, supporting them with their website builds and hosting fees right through to their basic marketing needs.
In 2024-25 we had the chance to collaborate with The Blue Tangerine Federation again through Dacorum’s Dragon’s Challenge programme.
After six months of intense fundraising, planning, scheduling, meeting, discussing, liaising, cut, snipping and pasting….our Team from Sir John Lawes School beat the all-time record and won the award for the Most Money Earned raising £7,095.87!!! 👏👏👏
These vital funds helped support The Blue Tangerine Federation to invest in a new wheelchair swing being installed in their playground.

Twenty-Two were incredibly proud to support Watford Hospital’s Children’s Christmas Party for the wonderful children and families on the Starfish Ward.
The aim was simple but meaningful – to give children and their families a few precious hours away from hospital life, filled with joy, laughter and festive cheer.
The generosity of all corporate partners and amazing volunteers was truly overwhelming. Everyone’s support helped create unforgettable moments for children and families who needed them most.
Together, we showed the true power of community and how much impact local businesses can make when we work together!🙌
In September 2025 more than 350 walkers took part in our biggest Great Big Walk for Herts yet, collectively raising over £120,000 for children and young people across the county!
From 11 to 83 years old, everyone brought energy and fun to 12 unique 13-mile loops – of which we joined the Herts Inclusive Theatre team! The perfect weather only added to the incredible atmosphere and of course we walked 29,022 steps with a total of 22.2km!
Being part of One YMCA’s Corporate Connect Club made us want to do more so we hosted a cinema screening of Inside Out 2 to help raise awareness for youth mental health through One YMCA’s Signpost Counselling. 🎬🍿
Events like this enable us to stand that one bit closer to the action, away from my screen, and really see what a difference some local awareness can bring.
