Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote learning opportunities for all.

UPSKILL & LEARN

We know that there are many opportunities for people to learn and work in today’s society, however total inclusion still remains an issue for some.

Over the past three years, Twenty-Two have embraced partnering with new businesses so that we too can promote more learning opportunities for all by:

  • Offering work experience placements through the Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP) – a supported programme that helps disadvantaged and under-represented young people in Hertfordshire start out in work
  • Signing up to HOP’s Pledge – a commitment to provide opportunities for people to work, earn a wage and gain valuable qualifications and experience
  • Working in schools across Hertfordshire to help with mock interview days
  • Becoming Disability Confident – Level 1 and now Level 2
  • Completing a Level 1 First Aid in Mental Health Awareness Course
  • Proudly supporting the Purple Tuesday movement throughout the year

Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Being an all-female led business, it is of paramount importance that we empower all women and girls to champion our individual abilities and successes.

We also like to keep gender equality at the forefront of what we do which is why we support schemes such as LGBT+ History Month and are proud to share our own Equal Opportunities Policy when recruiting.

SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

“51% of smaller businesses want information to help work out if reducing carbon emissions makes financial sense for their business.” – British Business Bank, 2022

We know that in 2024 many businesses hold sustainability as a vital requirement when establishing their supply chain partners. That’s why we love to signpost our clients to organisations such as Carma!

Twenty-Two started right at the basics by adopting LED lighting in our office and to this day, remain totally paperless. These starting points have been further supported by our wish to take on Small Business Britain’s Green Skills for Small Business Programme and Wenta’s Action Zero (Gold) programme which has helped us secure more sustainable working practices.
